J.Lindley.....Tell us, Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Josh Lindley and I'm a tattoo artist at Blvd. Tattoo Co. alongside my very good friends Debo and Jess Kiddin in Anderson, SC.
Why do you do what you do?
Good question! I just kinda fell into it and have had a lot of luck and good friends to help me along the way. I've always drawn as a kid and what better way to do it than drawing something as permanent as a tattoo?
Tell us a little about your background?
hm-mm.... I've worked in a few tattoo shops along the way, traveled a lot the last few years learning more and more. Traveling is the best way to keep moving on to the next level, and working with different people that will push you just as much as you push them is the shit..
Who are you most inspired by?
I have been most inspired by my coworkers and friends I've made traveling. They keep me on my toes! ..not gonna call any names, as they know who they are!
What work do you most enjoying doing?
I enjoy traditional tattoos .. Solid, timeless tattooing.

Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
Having a daughter has taught me alot about being patient .. so I strive to do my best and keep moving forward and not to take things so seriously.
What do you dislike about your work?
It's not that I dislike anything about it but everything could always be better,
I guess, if anything.

What do you like about your work?
I like the fact that it's straight up, bold lines, no bullshit, and that it lasts forever !

Tattooing ..I have given my all for this and it is my life.
Favorite or most inspirational place?
hmmm ... that's a tough one .. I've gotten around ( in the good way), hahaha, so i can't just name one in specific.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
The best piece of advice I've been give is that nothing in this world is free and no one will give you shit. Get off your ass and work for it ...
I'm at a really good point where I am now with the shop and if anything, I just want to travel more.

I am not around Josh very often in person but have seen his work in person and on site. I am personally inspired each time I see a new piece of work by J. Lindley. Great job Josh, keep it up...painting and tattooing!! :)
