This past weekend was very busy! We had first planned on going to Fall for Greenville on Friday night to see Shooter Jennings, but, abandoned those plans when we figured out we didnt have time to do everything we wanted to do! So, we had dinner and shopped, and then spent the evening in Liberty! Saturday, we went to the pumpkin festival in Pumpkintown, SC. I really wish that I had pictures of this to post, but, I didnt take my camara. :-( This is one thing that I will definately mark on my calendar for next year, Lord willing! It was not some mainstream, commercialized, Main Street, small town event. It was a true Fall festival in the middle of the woods! Everything there was handmade.... we saw jack-o-lanterns galore, bottlecap art, scrabble tile jewelry, and everything in between!! Next year, I will definately be taking some pics!
After the Pumpkin Festival, we had dinner at Michaels Pizza in Easley ( to die for), and then took all the kids by a spooky old graveyard where they REFUSED to get out of the car! 'snicker-snicker'
Then, Sunday we watched Heavenly Son (from the 80's), a movie Adam remembers loving as a kid! Then, finished up the next to last DVD of TRUE BLOOD Season 1!! Can't wait for the next!!
